Once it is in S3, I use another script to pull down the images and organize them into a timelapse automatically. I even have my own Slack bot that I use to control some things at home. I use slack a lot at home for my homelab to report things.

The script takes snapshot of my yard every single day and uploads it to AWS S3.Īfter it uploads to S3 it will alert me in my home Slack workspace to let me know it’s complete.
